|Halloween Thoughts (happy bday durty del!)
As a man, I don't mind seeing girls in costumes that make them look like whores. But honestly, there is nothing scary about a school girl or a naughty maid. Unless they're very heavy girls.
I have nothing against heavy girls, but I do have something against schoolgirls dressing up like schoolgirls.
When you girls are looking for Halloween costumes, do it right.
Dress up as something you're not. If you've been a real school girl before, don't dress up as one for halloween. Be something scary. Be Martha Stewart.
And guys that dress up like women only like the way their legs look in high heels.

I love this girl to death, but is it wrong of me not to give a flippin flying squirrel about her ex-boyfriend? At all? I'm not being inconsiderate, but I just don't care for the guy.
In other news, I'm coming home Nov 22-27 so mark your calendars and tell all your friends. I miss everybody.

Yellowcard graced our campus last night, and it was one bamfing concert.
I realize how fortunate I am to live in California.
Esepcially when my suitmate from Pittsburg looks out the windown on an overcast, chilly day and exclaims with a fully sincere heart, "What a beautiful day."
And all I can think to myself is, "What a crappy day."

What should I use to downloadmusic? Anybody recommend anything?
Limewire wont connect for some reason and WinMX has no new songs so I'm getting a little insane.
Oh, PS I'm in Spokane and it rained today. Just a taste of things to come I suppose.
I'm living in a 2 bedroom dorm/apartment with 3 other guys. The rooms are pretty big so 2 people per room is not a problem. I've got enough drawerspace to make any girl happy and a kitchen to boot. No one really writes in the LJ anymore except Christine.

|JUST A REMINDER
For those of you with cell phones, listen up.
Now that I have everyones attention dial (888) 382-1222.
Sometime in mid-September, your cell phone numbers will be released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive calls...calls that you WILL BE CHARGED FOR.
The 888 number I gave you is for the "National Do Not Call List."
It only takes a minute, do it, don't have your cell phone bill shafted by these telemarketing scum.
You know how they always call your house during dinner. Don't let them call while you're on a hot date, in class, or getting laid.
Pass the # on to anyone you want, they'll thank you tomorrow. One call protects your number for 5 years.

I would like to invite you to my baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
The ceremony will be held Saturday, July 9 at the Stake Center on Sherman Way and Farralone. It starts at 5:00 pm. I would love to see you there.
(If you are going west on Sherman Way, turn left onto Farralone and it will be on the right hand side.)
Refreshments will be served afterwards. Call me if you have any questions.

|I've got another confession my friends...
Last night at the hooka bar, Courtney asked me how I met Kim and I went on to tell the story. Essentialy, I walked Kim back to her dorm,
but it got me thinking about meeting people for the first time. Sometimes I sit back and think that, of all the billions of people in this world, once in a while you meet one for the first times and your lives intersect for a time.
In the case of Kim and I, our lives continue to run parallel.
I'm in love with a girl, and she's in love with me.

|Off in the Shower's Win Streak Ends
Despite a comback effort, we fell short by a few runs and were ousted in our first playoff game. Few pics to recap:
Cassie threw all 7 and was magnificent but they just kept finding gaps.
WACK! Lots of line drives right to fielders. Very sad.
Had a few solid stops at short. One throwing error (no one scored after though)
Running catch on a bloop over the Cass' head.
Can't not put this one in here...his error lead to a bunch of runs...

|So you think softball?
Our team is called "Off in the Shower." We always say, "you can't beat Off in the Shower." It's just a bit of alright. We've the same squad from last year and have only lost one game in two seasons. Here are some pictures from the last game thanks to Kim in the photowell.
Pretty sure I was just about to hit a bomb.
Meet Leslie. She plays 2nd and turns double plays with me.
Cassie, our rubber armed pitcher
Tae, the token asian guy. I-chi-rooooo
Confined to the outfield during BP.

Consider this a picture LJ from now on.

|Enough with the lyrics. But when a song makes you cry...
I am a lighthouse, worn by the weather and the waves.
I keep my lamp lit, to warn the sailors on their way.
I'll tell a story, paint you a picture from my past.
I was so happy, but joy in this life seldom lasts.
I had a keeper, he helped me warn the ships at sea.
We had grown closer, 'till his joy meant everything to me.
And he was to marry, a girl who shone with beauty and light.
And they loved each other, and with me watched the sunsets into night.
And the waves crashing around me, the sand slips out to sea.
And the winds that blow remind me, of what has been, and what can never be.
She'd had to leave us, my keeper he prayed for a safe return.
But when the night came, the weather to a raging storm had turned.
He watched her ship fight, but in vain against the wild and terrible wave.
In me so helpless, as dashed against the rock she met her end.
Then on the next day, my keeper found her washed up on the SHORE.
He kissed her cold face, that they'd be together soon he'd swore.
I saw him crying, watched as he buried her in the sand.
And then he climbed my tower, and off of the edge of me he ran.
I am a lighthouse, worn by the weather and the waves.
And though I am empty, I still warn the sailors on their way.

Fumi, my Japanese suitmate, was watching Independence Day in Japanese. Hopefully he didn't think it was a historical flim...because those visual effects are amazing. There has to be some form of irony there. Plus, I don't think Will Smith's black jokes work as well in Japanese.
Also, my other suitmate likes this WWII game. At one point during the game they talked about bombing Japan...and Fumi watches him play this game so he was like "what zey say?" Current Mood: amused
